ACTION TOGETHER
International Humanitarian Partnership
Community Resilient ThermoHome Initiative
Ciudad Fernández, San Luis Potosí, Mexico
Ciudad Fernández is where we begin. Humanity is who we serve.
Action Together is an international humanitarian partnership initiative created to bring people, organizations, companies, institutions and communities together around one shared purpose: alleviating vulnerability and helping build a more resilient and sustainable future for vulnerable families.
Our first action begins in Ciudad Fernández, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where vulnerable families face interconnected challenges involving inadequate housing, poverty, energy vulnerability, extreme heat and environmental conditions.
We believe that humanitarian action should not only respond to the consequences of vulnerability. Where possible, it should also help address some of the conditions that allow vulnerability to continue from one generation to the next.
From vulnerability to resilience
The Community Resilient ThermoHome Initiative proposes a sustainable housing model designed to bring together:
- Dignified and resilient housing
- Thermal and climate resilience
- Energy efficiency and reduced energy vulnerability
- Sustainable construction
- Community participation and local development
- Skills, employment and economic opportunity
- Long-term social and environmental resilience
The ThermoHome concept incorporates the ThermoBlock construction system developed by Agundiz Design S.C.
The objective is not simply to construct houses.
The objective is to help alleviate vulnerability by creating healthier, safer and more resilient living environments while developing a model that can be evaluated, improved and potentially replicated in other communities.
A partnership open to everyone
Action Together is based on a simple belief:
You do not have to finance the entire vision to become part of it.
A person can participate.
An employee can participate.
A company can participate.
A foundation can participate.
A nonprofit organization can participate.
A government or institution can participate.
A technical professional can contribute knowledge.
A partner can provide materials, services or expertise.
An organization can help connect us with another organization.
Different contributions can become one humanitarian action.
Participation may take many forms, including beneficiary sponsorship, monthly support, employee engagement, volunteering, technical expertise, sustainable materials, professional services, community programs, institutional partnerships, grants or other forms of cooperation appropriate to each partner's mission and capacity.
An international vision with a local beginning
We are beginning in Ciudad Fernández because meaningful humanitarian action requires a real community, identifiable needs and the ability to work directly toward measurable results.
But our vision is not limited by geography.
Human vulnerability does not belong to one country, and human dignity does not belong to one population.
We therefore invite organizations and people from Mexico, Spain, Canada, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and other parts of the world to consider whether there is an appropriate way to participate.
The purpose is not to ask every organization for the same contribution.
The purpose is to discover how each partner can contribute according to its own mission, capabilities and values.
From one community to a replicable model
Action Together seeks to establish a foundation for a long-term model of community resilience.
The initial experience in Ciudad Fernández can provide practical evidence, lessons, partnerships and measurable outcomes that may help inform future communities facing similar forms of vulnerability.
Our long-term vision is therefore:
Local action → measurable impact → shared knowledge → stronger partnerships → potential replication.
Our invitation
We respectfully invite organizations, foundations, companies, governments, humanitarian institutions, development organizations, professionals, employees, volunteers and individuals to consider Action Together as an opportunity for meaningful humanitarian participation.
We are not asking every organization to finance the entire initiative.
We are asking for an opportunity to be considered.
An opportunity to present the initiative.
An opportunity to explore collaboration.
An opportunity to identify what each organization can contribute.
An opportunity to connect people and resources around a common humanitarian purpose.
ACTION TOGETHER
Because ending poverty begins by addressing vulnerability.
Because resilience begins with dignity.
Because sustainable development requires action.
Because humanity can accomplish more when we act together.
Ciudad Fernández is where we begin.
Humanity is who we serve.
Action Together is the invitation.

Action Together – Community Resilient ThermoHome Initiative
Ciudad Fernández, San Luis Potosí, Mexico
Let us work together to address vulnerability at its roots.
Let us begin where the need is real.
Let us place families at the center.
Let us use innovation in service of humanity.
And let us demonstrate that resilient housing can become a foundation for healthier, safer and more dignified communities.
Action Together
Building homes.
Reducing vulnerability.
Strengthening communities.
Creating the foundation for a future beyond poverty.
The Action Together initiative is a collaborative humanitarian project that aims to break the cycle of poverty by providing dignified and resilient housing to marginalized families, beginning with a pilot program in Ciudad Fernández, Mexico. By utilizing the innovative ThermoBlock construction system, the organization seeks to address the root causes of vulnerability, such as extreme heat and energy inefficiency, through sustainable and climate-resilient architecture. The program is designed as a replicable global model that invites diverse participation from individuals, corporations, and governments, emphasizing that even small, specialized contributions can help foster long-term community stability. Ultimately, the initiative views the creation of a healthier and safer living environment as the essential foundation for human dignity and socioeconomic development across the world.
