Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to establish the principles governing the design, manufacture, quality assurance, installation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Agundiz Design S.C. ThermoBlock Climate Control System.

The ThermoBlock System is intended to support resilient, energy-efficient, healthy, safe, and sustainable buildings that contribute to improved quality of life and climate adaptation.

Regulatory Compliance

Every ThermoBlock project shall be designed and constructed in accordance with applicable Mexican federal, state, and municipal laws, construction regulations, civil protection requirements, occupational safety requirements, environmental regulations, and all project-specific engineering standards.

Where applicable, Agundiz Design S.C. shall also consider internationally recognized good practices related to sustainable construction, energy efficiency, healthy buildings, resilience, and humanitarian development.

Construction Safety & Occupational Health Policy

Agundiz Design S.C. is committed to protecting the health, safety, and well-being of all employees, contractors, volunteers, visitors, partners, and community members involved in its humanitarian and construction activities.

Every project shall implement a Construction Safety Management System based on applicable Mexican laws and regulations and internationally recognized occupational safety principles.

The Safety Management System shall include:

• Safety leadership and accountability.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Safe work planning before construction begins.
• Worker training and competency.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Fall prevention and fall protection.
• Electrical safety and lockout procedures where applicable.
• Excavation and trench safety.
• Scaffold and ladder safety.
• Safe operation of machinery, tools, and lifting equipment.
• Fire prevention and emergency preparedness.
• Heat stress prevention and worker welfare.
• Dust, silica, and hazardous material control where applicable.
• First aid, medical response, and emergency communication.
• Incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
• Regular inspections, audits, and continuous improvement.

Agundiz Design S.C. shall promote a safety culture in which every worker has the authority and responsibility to identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and stop work when an imminent danger exists.
