Survivor Assistance and Referral Procedure

Effective Date: July 2026


1. Purpose

Agundiz Design S.C. is committed to treating all reports of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) with dignity, respect, confidentiality, and compassion.

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that individuals who report or experience misconduct are treated in a survivor-centered manner and are informed of available support services.


2. Scope

This procedure applies to:

  • Beneficiaries
  • Employees
  • Volunteers
  • Contractors
  • Consultants
  • Community Members
  • Partner Organizations

3. Guiding Principles

Agundiz Design S.C. will:

  • Respect the dignity and rights of every survivor.
  • Maintain confidentiality to the greatest extent possible.
  • Protect survivors from retaliation.
  • Treat every report seriously and without discrimination.
  • Respect the survivor’s decisions whenever possible, consistent with applicable law.

4. Immediate Response

When a report is received, Agundiz Design S.C. will:

  • Listen respectfully and without judgment.
  • Assess whether there are immediate safety concerns.
  • Explain the available reporting and referral options.
  • Keep information confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect individuals from serious harm.

5. Referral Services

Where appropriate and available, Agundiz Design S.C. may refer survivors to qualified external services, including:

  • Medical care.
  • Psychological or counseling services.
  • Social support services.
  • Legal assistance.
  • Government protection services.
  • Other specialized organizations.

6. Non-Retaliation

No individual shall be punished, intimidated, threatened, or discriminated against for reporting concerns or requesting assistance in good faith.


7. Confidential Records

Records related to reports and referrals shall be maintained securely, with access limited to authorized personnel.


8. Review

This procedure shall be reviewed periodically and updated as organizational needs, legal requirements, and United Nations partner standards evolve.


9. Approval

This Survivor Assistance and Referral Procedure is approved and adopted by Agundiz Design S.C.
