1. Purpose

Agundiz Design S.C. is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, dignity, and respect in all humanitarian, community development, and organizational activities.

This Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PEAS) Policy establishes a zero-tolerance approach to sexual exploitation and abuse and demonstrates the organization’s commitment to protecting beneficiaries, children, vulnerable adults, employees, volunteers, contractors, consultants, partners, and community members.

This policy is adopted in accordance with the standards and principles of the United Nations and applies to all persons acting on behalf of Agundiz Design S.C.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• Employees
• Volunteers
• Board members
• Consultants
• Contractors
• Suppliers
• Community workers
• Interns
• Partner organizations
• Any individual representing Agundiz Design S.C.

3. Zero-Tolerance Policy

Agundiz Design S.C. strictly prohibits:

• Sexual exploitation.
• Sexual abuse.
• Sexual harassment.
• Exchange of money, employment, goods, housing, services, or assistance for sexual favors.
• Sexual activity with any person under the age of 18.
• Abuse of authority for sexual purposes.
• Retaliation against anyone who reports misconduct.

Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, termination of employment or contracts, referral to law enforcement authorities, and permanent exclusion from organizational activities.

4. Organizational Commitment

Agundiz Design S.C. commits to:

• Protecting the dignity and rights of every individual.
• Creating safe humanitarian programs.
• Promoting equality, respect, and inclusion.
• Providing confidential reporting mechanisms.
• Investigating all allegations promptly and fairly.
• Cooperating with national authorities and United Nations agencies when appropriate.
• Providing support and referrals for survivors.

5. Responsibilities

Every representative of Agundiz Design S.C. must:

• Read and comply with this policy.
• Complete mandatory PEAS training.
• Immediately report suspected violations.
• Cooperate fully with investigations.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Managers and supervisors are responsible for ensuring compliance throughout all organizational activities.

6. Confidentiality

All reports shall be treated with strict confidentiality.

Information will only be shared with authorized personnel responsible for protecting survivors and conducting investigations.

7. Reporting

Any employee, volunteer, beneficiary, contractor, or community member may report concerns without fear of retaliation.

Reports may be submitted confidentially to the Executive Director or through the official organizational reporting mechanism.

8. Policy Review

This policy shall be reviewed annually or whenever required by changes in United Nations standards or Mexican law.
