Corrective Action and Disciplinary Procedure
Effective Date: July 2026
1. Purpose
Agundiz Design S.C. is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, ethical, and accountable working environment. This procedure establishes a fair and consistent process for addressing violations of the organization’s PEAS Policy, Code of Conduct, and other organizational policies.
2. Scope
This procedure applies to:
- Employees
- Volunteers
- Consultants
- Contractors
- Board Members
- Interns
- Community Workers
- Partner Organizations
- Any individual acting on behalf of Agundiz Design S.C.
3. Principles
Corrective and disciplinary actions shall be:
- Fair and impartial.
- Proportionate to the seriousness of the misconduct.
- Applied consistently.
- Respectful of confidentiality and due process.
- Consistent with applicable Mexican law and United Nations partner requirements.
4. Corrective Actions
Depending on the circumstances, Agundiz Design S.C. may implement one or more of the following measures:
- Verbal counseling.
- Written warning.
- Mandatory retraining.
- Increased supervision.
- Temporary suspension from duties.
- Revision of work assignments.
- Corrective performance improvement measures.
5. Disciplinary Measures
Where serious misconduct is confirmed, disciplinary measures may include:
- Written reprimand.
- Suspension.
- Termination of employment or volunteer service.
- Cancellation of consultancy or contractor agreements.
- Removal from organizational activities.
- Referral to the appropriate authorities where required by law.
6. Protection Against Retaliation
Agundiz Design S.C. strictly prohibits retaliation against any person who reports concerns or participates in an investigation in good faith.
Any act of retaliation shall itself be treated as a serious violation of organizational policy.
7. Documentation
All corrective and disciplinary actions shall be documented and securely maintained in accordance with organizational record-keeping practices.
8. Review
This procedure shall be reviewed periodically and updated as organizational needs, legal requirements, and United Nations partner standards evolve.
9. Approval
This Corrective Action and Disciplinary Procedure is approved and adopted by Agundiz Design S.C.
