Code of Conduct for Employees, Volunteers, Contractors, Consultants, Board Members, and Partners

Effective Date: July 2026


1. Purpose

Agundiz Design S.C. is committed to conducting all humanitarian, community development, and organizational activities with integrity, professionalism, respect, accountability, and transparency.

This Code of Conduct establishes the standards of ethical behavior expected of every person representing Agundiz Design S.C.


2. Scope

This Code applies to:

  • Employees
  • Volunteers
  • Board Members
  • Consultants
  • Contractors
  • Suppliers
  • Interns
  • Community Workers
  • Partner Organizations
  • Any individual representing Agundiz Design S.C.

Compliance with this Code is a condition of employment, volunteer service, contracting, and partnership.


3. Core Values

Every representative of Agundiz Design S.C. shall:

  • Respect the dignity, rights, and equality of all people.
  • Act honestly, professionally, and transparently.
  • Promote inclusion without discrimination based on gender, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Protect vulnerable individuals and communities.
  • Support the mission of building resilient, sustainable, and safe communities.

4. Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PEAS)

Agundiz Design S.C. maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual exploitation and abuse.

Personnel shall never:

  • Engage in sexual exploitation or sexual abuse.
  • Request, encourage, or accept sexual favors in exchange for employment, services, assistance, housing, money, or any organizational benefit.
  • Engage in sexual activity with any person under the age of 18, regardless of local laws or consent.
  • Abuse positions of authority or trust for personal or sexual gain.
  • Retaliate against any individual who reports misconduct in good faith.

5. Professional Conduct

Personnel shall:

  • Perform duties honestly and responsibly.
  • Protect confidential information.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Use organizational property responsibly.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and organizational policies.
  • Respect local customs while upholding international human rights standards.

6. Reporting Obligations

Every representative has a duty to report suspected violations of this Code or the PEAS Policy immediately.

Reports may be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation.

Failure to report serious misconduct may itself constitute a violation of this Code.


7. Protection Against Retaliation

Agundiz Design S.C. prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports misconduct or participates in an investigation in good faith.


8. Disciplinary Measures

Violations of this Code may result in:

  • Verbal or written warning.
  • Mandatory retraining.
  • Suspension.
  • Termination of employment or volunteer service.
  • Cancellation of contracts.
  • Referral to competent authorities when appropriate.

9. Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I have received, read, understood, and agree to comply with the Agundiz Design S.C. Code of Conduct and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PEAS) Policy.
